I was hoping to see that you had discovered a few adults already.. late?
Yes, looking late. I checked three spots on the river Tuesday 5/13. The lowest spot on the river was just at the mouth of the canyon. There is a spot (in the “measuring rock” picture) where I always see adults first. None there. I checked 2 and 4 miles up canyon as well. Zippo. I’m hoping with this nice warming trend we should see some this week. I’m heading out the door right now to fish Left Hand Fork on the Blacksmith, so should have an update later tonight.
(I’m trying to come up with a standardized look for my fishing reports, but they’re just kind of jumbled right now–I hope they aren’t too confusing.)
