Protecting Bull Trout

In another Bush era rollback by the new administration, the USFWS is looking at improving bull trout habitat. Julie MacDonald, a Bush appointee, made some “‘illogical’ policy choices,” that “was not based on science,” it says in the inspector general’s report.

  1. We dealt with MacDonald on the decision not to list grayling–what a piece of work she was. But it has not been easy getting FWS to review the decision now, either. Hope I can tell this story soon, once the court settlement is a done deal…
