Redband Trout

Brief article about the native redband trout. One item the article did not cover is the difficulty in finalizing a name for the trout. One of the problems is that redbands can have cutthroat markings. In fact, for quite some time, these fish were often labeled as cutthroat. If you like the leaping qualities of rainbows, you’ll enjoy these native redbands—they are fun fish to catch.
