What a trip! I can’t wait to see the summaries and reports on this one.
Love the new layout on the website too. Very nice.
WFF,
Summaries/reports may just be filled with skeeter bites, sunburns and flat tires…but it should be interesting one way or the other.
Glad you like the new layout.
Good luck! I am so envious of this trip!
One of these days I plan to hit the northwest areas, they have quite the list of native salmonids.
Chris
Hey Chris!
Thanks for wishing us luck–we’ll surely need it!
When you make it to the NW, be sure to hook up with Gary and he’ll definitely point you in the right direction!
Awesome– I grew up in winnemucca! We’ll nearly be crossing paths on wednesday– I’m heading up to blue lakes in the pine forest complex and will be arriving in winnemucca late on wed night.
Have a great time! Can’t wait to hear how it goes…
Cheers,
–Brian J.
I looked for you Wednesday, but you weren’t one of the three cars we passed all day long
With all the rain this June, the area was beautiful. Full trip reportage starting a little later today (I hope).
That looks like a hell of trip, not that I know any of the places you’re going to of course. Wait a minute, you’ve already gone!
Look forward to reading about it, especially how you got on with the bull trout. Are they the same as Dolly Varden?
Eccles
Yes, we already left. But wait, if I’m writing this, we must be back!
Yes, bull trout = Dolly Varden.
Amazingly…no flat tires or vehicle problems! We were…umm…”on the receiving end of some good fortune”!
It takes so many more words, but sounds so much better!
