Yeah Harry, pretty much no matter where I turned, bombarded with sensory overload. I tried looking for leading lines, or something breaking up those lines. I found myself focusing more on things in close instead of open vistas. Rise Forms is now online. I hope you enjoy it.

Some really nice pics Scott-with that much color and texture it is difficult to find your focus point sometimes. I have the same problem. I am getting ready to step up to a digital slr here soon. Leaning towards the Nikon 5100 at this point-just need to come up with the $$. This should allow me to do more than the point & shoot will allow. Looking forward to Rise Forms!

Thanks Brett. For a place with as much color as Valley of Fire, I think I like most of the b&w better than the color. I’m still working on that photographer’s eye: that place has so much color and texture, it’s hard for me to figure out what to focus on.

Great shots Scott! What a beautiful place to spend some time. Glad to see you back around. I have been a little absent lately too trying to get everything squared away with the local TU chapter reboot. We are well on our way here in just a few short months. How is Rise Forms looking for the next issue?
